The following is a listing of current bid postings.

ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS
Deegan Lake Dam Water Control Grouting
CITY OF BRIDGEPORT, WEST VIRGINIA

Sealed bids will be received by the City of Bridgeport, West Virginia, at the office of the City Engineer, until 2:00 P.M., EDT, September 22, 2026 for water control grouting at Deegan Lake Dam, located at 80 Timber Ridge Road, Bridgeport, West Virginia.

Interested bidders should notify Aaron Reel of Terracon at [email protected] or at (304) 205-1635 to obtain electronic copies of bid documents at no charge. Printed copies of the plans and specifications will be open to public inspection or may be secured at the 515 West Main St., Bridgeport, WV for a non-refundable fee of $25.00.

A non-mandatory Pre-Bid Meeting will be held at Bridgeport City Hall Council Chambers, 515 West Main St., Bridgeport, WV at 10:00 A.M., EDT, September 4, 2026. After the meeting, a non-mandatory reconnaissance/visual examination of the proposed construction sites will be conducted for prospective bidders.

All proposals will be publicly opened and read aloud in the Council Chambers, at the Bridgeport City Hall, 515 West Main St., Bridgeport, WV at 2:00 P.M., EDT, September 22, 2026.

Each bidder must tender with their proposal a certified check or bid bond, payable to the City of Bridgeport, West Virginia in an amount equal to five percent (5%) of their total proposal; WV license certificate; signed addendum confirmations; and the pre-qualification eligibility certificate. Bid security will be returned to unsuccessful bidders ten (10) days following opening of bid. The Bid Security of the successful bidder will be retained until execution of the surety bond for performance of contract. If the successful bidder is not able to furnish surety bond within seven (7) days following award of contract, this Bid Security will be forfeited to the City of Bridgeport, West Virginia.

Contractors will be required to comply with all applicable Equal Employment Opportunity laws and regulations. The final Notice of Award of Contract shall be given to the successful bidder within thirty (30) days following the opening of bids and no bidder may withdraw his/her bid within thirty (30) days after opening thereof. Bidders should carefully examine the project specifications and other documents and fully inform themselves as to all conditions and matters which can in any way affect the work or the cost thereof.

The City of Bridgeport, West Virginia, reserves the right to reject any or all proposals and to waive technical errors if, in the Owner’s judgement, the best interests of the Owner will thereby be promoted.

The City of Bridgeport will afford full opportunity to disadvantaged business enterprises to submit a show of interest in response to this invitation and will not discriminate against any interested firm or individual on the grounds of race, creed, color, sex, age, handicap, or national origin in the contract award.

CEMETERY SEWER LINE INSTALLATION

Sealed bids will be received by the City of Bridgeport, West Virginia, at the office of the City Engineer, until 2:00 P.M., EDT, Friday, September 18, 2026 for directional drilling 600LF 6-inch sewer line to the Bridgeport Cemetery Office Building. The City will not except electronic bids.

Printed copies of the plans and specifications will be open to public inspection or may be secured at the 515 West Main St., Bridgeport, WV for a non-refundable fee of $25.00.
