Prescription Drug Take Back

The Bridgeport Police Department is pleased to inform residents that they now have a prescription drug drop box installed in the lobby of the Police Department. The drop box allows for a safe and secure way for residents to dispose of expired, unwanted or unused medications.

The purpose of this program is to prevent someone from accidentally taking medication, to prevent the illicit use of these drugs and to protect the environment from improper disposal of medications.

*Any items dropped off should be in pill or patch form only, only liquids under 4 oz., no liquids over 4 oz. or needles will be accepted.
